SCHADEWALD, Mary A.
Age 97, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2016. Mary will live on in all our memories and hearts as she touched each and every one of us in her special, prayerful way. She was first and foremost a mother, homemaker, grandmother, great-grandmother, gardener, volunteer, best friend and neighbor. For 49 years, Mary was the devoted wife of the late William Schadewald, who predeceased her in 1989. SCHADEWALD, Mary A.
Age 97, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2016. Mary will live on in all our memories and hearts as she touched each and every one of us in her special, prayerful way. She was first and foremost a mother, homemaker, grandmother, great-grandmother, gardener, volunteer, best friend and neighbor. For 49 years, Mary was the devoted wife of the late William Schadewald, who predeceased her in 1989. She is survived by her six children, William Schadewald; Mary Addams; Joanne Lilore (Gerald); Anne Altschuler (Barry); Helen Urban (Steve); and Bernadette Macy (Michael); nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her sister Helen Hall of Boston, MA; and her brothers Michael O'Such of Stuart, FL; Francis O'Such (Marguerite) of Stewartsville, NJ. All who knew her will remember Mary's gentleness in all things, her giving heart, sparkling blue eyes and smile, and tremendous faith. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, December 1st, 2016 from 5pm to 7 pm, at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER, 6411 Parker Ave, West Palm Beach, FL, with a Prayer Service to be held at 6pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 2, 2016, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 310 N Olive Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 (561) 832-3757. Christian Burial Rites will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann Place, c/o St. Ann Catholic Church, 310 N Olive Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33401.
